Live Edge White Ash Slab – S1009

This extremely clean slab of live edge white ash can be used for a bar top or as a book-match set for a live edge table.  This slab features several interesting knots and a very wide sapwood providing a great contrast to the darker heartwood.

About The Wood: White ash is a very hard wood that is in high demand for all kinds of different furniture.  It features a light sapwood with a honey colored heartwood that sometimes differs in hue.  White ash is easy to work with and makes great material for live edge tables.  The supply of White Ash is slowly diminishing due to the tree being devastated by the emerald ash bore.  The Ash tree is heading towards collapse so the supply of ash lumber is in great jeopardy.
